Hi Jason,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts. Grief is a mysterious thing. I was 9 when my father died and probably 29 when I finally dealt with the unresolved grief that had been subconsciously running my life. I do know that communication is key. It may be helpful for you to talk with a local therapist or join a grief group.
Check out the articles on the Home page, book suggestions, read posts from other members and join the chat room. I pray that you find Help for Today & Hope for Tomorrow.

Men are thought to be though to keep the family grounded not cry not show any weakness. In some cases that is true. And only because you are not crying or feeling the same emotions your mom and sister are feeling it doesn't mean you are not grieving we all grieve in different ways. You miss him you feel the emptiness and pain of him being gone that is a part of grieving. You may also be in disbelief that your dad is really gone and that also keeps the emotions flowing in all directions. I'm sorry your dad is gone and i know he meant the world to you but don't over think things or make yourself feel less because your pains is different. Just remember that grief is like fingers prints everyone is different.
