How do I go on with such guilt?

8 years ago my baby cousin died in a horrible accident after having a simple surgery. He had his tonsils removed and it went perfectly, until four days later when somehow the stitches in his neck came loose and the poor baby ended up drowning to death in his own blood. In December of this past year my other cousin was killed in an accident that was sadly her fault, she was only 20 years old. But the accident she had was almost exactly similar to one I had had and caused a couple years before but I survived with hardly any injurgies. I feel both of their deaths like a knife to the heart every day but don’t feel like I should be grieving for them as much as I am because I was not close to either of them. But I’m haunted everyday.

Carson, time has passed since your post.  Has their been any  healing or insight since then?  Tell me about these wonderful people that are not walking on earth with you any more.  They must have left memories.
