My partner died and I have never known such pain.

My partner died of a heart attack while we were on vacation in Mexico. I loved him with all my heart. His death was sudden, shocking, and terrible for me.

I have to face the flight home to Canada alone and I am dreading it. We came here together and I have to go home alone. Any words for me?

I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your partner. Any words we can say pale in comparison to what you're feeling right now. Please be kind to yourself and just take it one step at a time as you return to Canada.
