I am so sorry for your loss.  You were very fortunate to have known that kind of love.  Some people never experience it.  I lost my boyfriend of 10 years suddenly.  I loved him with every cell of my body.  He died of sudden cardiac arrest.  He was pronounced dead Oct 28, 2016, I was there holding his hand.  We were not together as long as you and your wife.  But he was everything to me.  We did everything together.  There's nowhere I can look without seeing him.  I miss him beyond words.  I do understand your pain.  I literally feel a hollowness in my heart.  I know this has changed me forever.  And this will change you forever too.  I lost my sister unexpectedly in 2010.  That was awful.  But losing the love of my life and my partner has proven to be even more difficult.  I don't know what your beliefs are but I have done a lot of soul searching to determine mine.  I do believe I will see him again.  I know it.
