Hi Debbie... and everyone! I found this page early one morning when I couldn't sleep. 

My daughter Grace was just a month and a half old when she died from a virus preemies often get. Most times they survive, but Gracie being the most awesome baby ever... had to fall into the rare cases where only a few die from the virus.  She was born 3 months premature due to preeclampsia. Grace survived 2 operations but in the end the virus hit her immature digestive system and killed her.  Every single day I cry for her... and even when I try not to think about her... I'm thinking about her. I really hope this chat room can help because NONE of my friends or family know what this is like. My husband does a little but he's not a mother and doesn't understand the  bond. Just today I had two people tell me "you really should be grateful for the things you do have and think about that." They seriously have absolutely no clue. Gracie's death is something I will never get over fully. My friends... they don't understand the pain and hurt and even guilt I feel on a daily sometimes hourly basis.
