I need an outlet, I need a support system around me. My family are far from me and my life made a huge turned when my Husband passed. Many people don’t understand or even respect what I’m going through they think that I’m young it’s very easy to just forget and move on. I need a place where I can express how I really feel,I need a place where no one is telling me that grieving is enough. I just need a place where I can share my day instead. Because my family and friends are sometimes forget I’m by myself and they don’t ask how am I doing instead they will contact me if they need to tell their problems or need something. It’s a very sad reality but I have to Lee my game face in order for me to survive every single day. Right now I’m still struggling but I can handle it a lil bit better.

I am here for you to talk to. From your photo you do look young and I am 56 and could possibly be a resource to you to vent. I lost my daughter 5 years ago, couldn’t deal with it, and landed in a psych unit for a month. I never want to go down that road again. 1-1/2 weeks ago I lost the love of my life and it also has been very hard to the point I know the people I work with think I may totally lose it. I also need to concentrate on my job to survive so am trying to cover that as best I can also. So don’t feel guilty about that, it is what we have to do to survive just have to figure out how to balance the grief and the job. It can be done, and I am contacting a dear friend to help me through it when I have to try to function at work and it worked yesterday! So. We are in the same two week stage of sudden losses and you have no idea how much contacting you has done for me. I am thinking about someone else today other than myself today, which is great and helping me, I am actually smiling right now. Glad I was able to finally well enough to find this site today. Really helped me.
