Hi Kathryn its difficult to understand life. At times some of us survive until our time comes and some chose to leave when they decide. Its unfair and painful for the ones left behind and words  dont help cope with this type of loss. I guess some feel this world was not meant for them no matter how hard they tried and how much they loved the people in their lives they dont feel the world is a right fit. I dont know what your Mom was goiong through but whatever it was it was more that she could bear. Where ever your Mom is now pray that she found her right fit and shes happy for it. I believe in heaven and everyone with a good heart is welcomed there, its a beautiful place where we all fit.
