Hello!

I am a poet here in central North Carolina, and a retired respiratory therapist.

I am offering to the guest poet, and my contribution would be in the form of a meaningful poem about some for of loss; in a regular interval for your website.

I have been with many hundreds of sick patients, many at the end of their lives. I took on writing a book about loss, in its many forms that I can take. Based loosely on those many hundreds of experiences, the book’s intention goes far beyond the medical domain. Since loss occurs in many forms in out active lives, I have place written poetry in many different aspects of loss.

While I am doing the work of seeking publication of the 93 page anthology I have put together, I want to get the work of it out there to the public. This work is written to assist those that sustained a loss in their lives. The anthology is a collaborative effort with two other intuitive poets, and one writer. Their work is about 10% of the book, the rest of it is my writing. There are three short stories, and the rest in poetry in various forms, both traditional and non-traditional.

Here is mywebsite's page for the book: FOR THE LOST AND LOVED. there are some examples of the poetry that is found in the book, and examples of what I could contribute to your fine website.

I have two other books out there to my credit. I also give public readings in my state of North Carolina, and am a member of three poetic organizations. However, i, too, have sustained losses in my life, parents, pets, friends, military, jobs... the things that happen in a full life.

Looking for ward to hearing back from you.
