Hi Robin, I do understand how you are feeling and the difficulty of just trying to get through each day. My husband passed away last spring. And it feels like just yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and l am talking to him all the time. Please get back to me, I know what you mean of other peoples the saying u just have to get on with your life, and most of these people have not been in that position that say this. so easier said than done. Hope we can message back forth. I can also call you after we talk for a bit and if we feel comfortable with each other. ! As I have unlimited long distance. Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you so much. Even friends sometimes say this and it makes me so jealous because I know they are having a conversation witheir husband before replying. After 12 weeks it feels like suddenly everyone has gone about there business and I'm still drowning. My husband played fast pitch softball and they had a memorial tournament for him this past weekend. I went and it just sorta crashed me down. I loved being at the games but it also made me feel more alone. Would love to have someone to talk to thank you.
lonely and my friends all have their own families etc. So they don't have time to call or come over (though before my husband passed away they would), l live in Newfoundland, my husband and I moved here 6 years ago. He was born here and I have always loved it here but all our children, grandkids, and great grandchildren live in Ontario. So I have my place up for sale. I am going to sell it myself. I want to move back to Ontario to be closer to my children. So I have been showing it a lot, so this keeps me busy, but it seems like a struggle, I don't have the energy l use to have since Tom passed away. I have to keep pushing myself. It seems like you married the love of your life? and have been together so long as me. Do you work? Or did you? I know I haven't worked since Tom passed. Are your kids at home and do you have family close to you? I have people coming to look at our place this morning, so I have to get organized here before they show up. So get back to me l I know we are on different time, we are eastern time .It is 9:45am here now. Hope to talk again soon like you l would love to have someone one to talk to, so we may be able to help each other through this very hard time in our lives. Take care.
Mike and I started dating in high school. The love of my life yes. I do work. I am a RN and was unable to take anymore time off. I'm not prepared to fully function at work but haven't been given a choice. My kids are teenagers. My youngest is 16 and will be a junior next school year. My oldest is 19 just starting college. I do have a sister not far from me but with so many commitments I feel terrible just trying to talk with her. In the last 7 years I have lost an uncle, my grandmother, my mother, and now my husband. I am doing everything I can for my kids but I'm so empty and lonely. I'm in the eastern time zone as well. Michigan. Mike and I used to go to Toronto every year for almost 10 years. Haven't been in a long time though.
