I feel unhappy, I feel so sad. I've lost the best parents, one could ever have. They were my world and I loved them so, but it's too late now, I must let them go. Continue

- Please share the reason(s) why you joined this site?
- Grief. Both parents have died w/in 3 yrs. of one another. Father first in 2016 followed by my mother in 2019. No immediate family nearby; few friends (none with whom that I can talk to about feelings; this includes my girlfriend of 14 yrs.), and feel lost in a storm w/these feelings of loss and grief. Never before have I had to deal w/ the death of someone close, and all of the sudden, here I am, w/ no one. I feel lonely, however & most importantly, I just feel all alone. I pretend that I am okay; but, I'm not. I need to have an intelligent conversation w/ someone who may be able to offer some realistic solutions, or even just a way to deal w/ what I am feeling. I see suicide as my only viable solution.
