I Miss Him

My name is Abby, A couple years ago my older sister and I found our dad  in the basement we tried CPR and called 911. The hardest thing was the paramedic saying we tried everything but we could not save him he died because of his heart it was his 4th heart attack. I miss him every fathers day I cry, I eventually moved across the country with my mom I will never forget that day. Everybody talks about their dad then they ask about mine I say I dont have one they say you have to then I say he's dead they say sorry then I say its okay but its not it never will be I don't Cry in front of my mom I try to stay strong I hate the quite but yet I love it I feel alone...........

I miss my dad as well. We were best friends! I lost him Oct 3rd 2013. Sorry for your loss.

Hi Abby,

There is no one like your Dad, I'm sure he was very proud of you and your sister. I lost my Dad in 1991, and every Fathers Day still hurts so much.  I now have lost my husband of 40 years, and worry so much about this upcoming Father's Day for my two daughters, they are both married and have children but I know what a hard day that is going to be for them, I hope I find the right way to make it ok for them.  My thoughts and remember all the great memories you have with your Dad.  Sad
