I have tried adding the constraint Aspect ratio but the increased height and width are very big. Is there anyway to set the constraint height and width of image view

You will need to change the "Content Mode" on the UIImageView so that it can either "Scale to Fill", "Aspect Fit", or "Aspect Fill" to have the image fill the area correctly for different sized iPhone screens. Not knowing about the Content Mode setting can make your Auto Layout constraints look wrong, and will leave you frustrated. 15. You can see that the UIImageView doesn't take all the cell space, because there's a surrounding white border. I know the aspect ratio of the image that will be in this UIImageView, and I know the width of the table view (which includes the border), but what I actually need is the width of the UIImageView. About your edit, that's what I tried first. UIImageView, Autolayout, and UITableView. - (CGSize)intrinsicContentSize { // if I don't have an image, or haven't set Scale Aspect Fit, uh, I dunno. // Do what it normally would do. I'm really happy I stumble upon your article after so many research on the topic UIImageView in Scale a UIImage to any given rect keeping the aspect ratio - UIImage+Scale.m In my example, I will be using a UIImageView as the sole content of the scroll view. If you need a multiple views inside the Scroll View, please refer to the following link instead: iOS: How to use UIScrollView with Autolayout (Pure Autolayout Approach) - Multiple Content Views. I will be using the pure auto layout approach as stated in this ios documentation: How the Mode property affects an image Resize a UIImage the right way. October 12th it's only a matter of instantiating a UIImage, passing it to a UIImageView of the appropriate size, and setting the cornerRadius supports both Aspect Fit and Aspect Fill. (Other content
