- My dad passed away of a heroin overdose August 10th of this year. I've been so messed up and I can't stop crying. The worst part is, I called him August 8th because I hadn't heard from him in awhile, he didn't answer so I left a voicemail. He called me back on the 9th but I didn't answer, and I didn't call back. Then he died on the 10th. I should have answered. Why didnt i answer....
