Hi April,
I'm not sure I understand the meaning of your question. We are all getting older everyday. Are you saying that it's hard to see your loved one aging? I agree with that. My mom turned 80 this year and she sure isn't the dynamo she once was. Her health has been deciing for years. And it's hard to imagine life without her someday ... in the meantime, I just try to really enjoy the time I do have with her.
Take care,

Hi April, I believe you can see a loved one aging. I hadn't really thought about it until I read your question, My brother who I had built a strong relationship with was officially diagnosed with ALS, but before he was officially diagnosed we knew he was sick and it was getting harder for him to do things I had seen him do before.
Once the day came when my sister told me that he couldn't walk anymore, and yes just like that (ALS is a very unforgiving disease and harsh), It seemed I was noticing him slowly aging more. Of course he was sick but I feel that I was seeing him age as the days went by.
As we know, we all age as we go through life and as time goes by day by day, sometimes I think there comes a point that you can see a loved one age whether it's just natural aging from having a good long life or from a disease that they are fighting against.
Have a good day,
Lynn
