i am so sorry Brian for your loss i lost my mom to cancer so i know how it feels to loose a parent wow yes you have and feel every emotion out there and you think it will not get better but after awhile it does but the pain never goes away completely but it gets better but you never forget what happened or the person i don't know if you have a religious belief or not but on thing that has helped me is to know that i will see my mom again if you want  to talk i am here on the chat .take care
