Please share the reason(s) why you joined this site?: My youngest son passed away on February 8, 2014.

I have lost children before him but because of responsibilities, I never allowed myself to grieve. Now he passed away to cancer, which took him in 5 short months.

I'm finding myself grieving and don't know how to handle it. I block it off again, only to find it pops out at the least expected times. It's like this great big heavy ball is sitting in my chest, and I need to hear from others to understand that I'm not alone.

You are defiantly not alone in this. I understand responsibilities keeps us from grieving properly and letting the pain out. And maybe because you lost other children now this loss is weighing all your losses. Grief in itself is powerful and blocking it is only temporary thats why it comes out of no where. Let the grieving process happen at its course try not to block it. If you need to cry cry and if you need to yell yell .

Dont block your emotions we all go through this. I myself had a bad weekend I cried like it was the day i found out he was gone. I was angry at life. Its not an easy journey. But with faith everything is possible.
