Please share the reason(s) why you joined this site?: Death of 2 family members in 6 month of each other. Didn't grief my brother until my sister in law was murdered 4 days after Christmas.Let me start from the beginning. My brother Wayne and I were very close out of a family of 7children he was the oldest. Wayne had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and was treated with chemotherapy three years in a row when the cancer poked it's head every year after each treatment put him into a short remission. After the three treatments of chemo didn't work they gave him a stem cell transplant thought they stopped the cancer but it didn't take. He passed just days before his birthday in July 2014. It was very hard an me to accept but he died in my arms with his son and daughter holding himon his right side I was on the left while he took his last breath and I felt the last beat of his heart while my older sister and his wife stood behind us unaware he just passed on, they were laughing about something they were discussing. I had to run out of the room as I couldn't deal with them. I live in northern Ontario taking care of my 86 year old father whom lives with my husband and I. I was on vacation, talk about Devine intervention, my husband had just got back upstairs minutes after he passed, he was walking our son out.
