Tonight

The moon shines bright!

The air is soft I feel you by my side

I feel the calmness of having you nearby,

are you in the moon tonight?

The wind fondles my hair. Whispers say I miss you.

As I look up at the sky, clouds decorate the night.

It’s so beautiful I know it’s you behind the display of wonder

I feel you in the air tonight, all though were sunder.

I close my eyes and take a breath let it all in and not let you escape,

not for a moment not for this night you came to see me.

Do you have curfew in paradise; I will hide you under my pillow

that’s where I spend most of my life.
