Losing my Dad

The story about my dad's death actually begins on Mon., Sept. 8th of this year.  My parents were out to visit my fiancee & myself, & after a wonderful weekend together, we all went to bed early, knowing that mom & dad had to be at the airport early to catch their flight home.  

At about 3 a.m., mom knocked on the door of my & Tom's (my fiancee) bedroom & told us that dad was really quite sick.  We got up, took one look at dad & promptly called 911.  He was…

Chrystal I have to say I just read your blog and it is heart wrenching. Your father was a lucky man to have you as a daughter.  I feel he would be nothing but proud of you because it sounds like every decision you made was what he wanted but especially made with LOVE!!!!! I hope you find peace and to see you in chat room sometime.  I unfortunately check this site and come on computer early in morning I am always looking to chat with someone but am never able to touch base.  If I could give any advice the best thing is talking or even typing about it to give some or any comfort to you.  God Bless you and your family.

I also read you blog it is heat wrenching to say the least I lost both of my parents it is not easy.your dad was a lucky person to have you it is so hard to make the tough decisions . It was hard for me to tell the hospital to finally pull him off life support.
